Parker L.

Parker L. is a digital and analog photographer whose work explores themes of death, duality and the cyclical narratives of life. Drawing inspiration from nature, occult iconography, mythology and cinema.

Her process is organic, finding and defining a ritual as her practice grows. Endlessly fascinated with mortality, - the space between death and life - Parker finds it empowering to have a relationship with death that is not infiltrated with fear.

She tends to move towards what makes her uncomfortable and enjoys encouraging the viewer to do the same; as an act of reclamation and reconnection to raw and real moments.

Parker received her BFA in Photography in 2023 and now resides in Upstate New York, where she shares a creative life with her partner, artist Jared Dominique.

In addition to her personal practice, she works as an art director for a film distribution company, merging her artistic vision with cinematic storytelling.
